The belief that Jesus Christ is the supreme and final revelation of God to humanity is rooted in Christian theology. This perspective holds that Jesus embodies the complete and ultimate expression of God’s nature and will. According to Christian doctrine, through His life, teachings, death, and resurrection, Jesus revealed God's love, mercy, and the means of salvation in a way that surpasses previous revelations.

For example, the New Testament explicitly states in Hebrews 1:1-2 that God has spoken to humanity in various ways through the prophets in the past, but in these last days, He has spoken through His Son. This reinforces the idea that Jesus is distinctively positioned as the culmination of God's communication with humanity.

In contrast, while prophets and apostles play significant roles in conveying God's message and guiding believers, they are seen as part of the larger narrative leading up to and pointing toward Jesus. The Scriptures, while sacred and authoritative, are viewed as a testimony to Jesus and not the final revelation themselves; they document His life and teachings but do not supplant His role as the ultimate word from God. Thus, Jesus Christ stands as the supreme and final revelation, central to Christian faith.
